Revelations - Melissa de la Cruz

Blue Bloods Book 3
(*Spoilers*)

Schuyler Van Alen’s blood legacy has just been called into question - is the young vampire in fact a Blue Blood, or is it the sinister Silver Blood that runs through her veins? As controversy swirls, Schuyler is left stranded in the Force household, trapped under the same roof as her cunning nemesis, Mimi Force, and her forbidden crush, Jack Force.

When one of the Gates of Hell is breached by Silver Bloods in Rio de Janeiro, however, the Blue Bloods will need Schuyler on their side. The stakes are high; the battle is bloody; and through it all, Carnavale rages on. And in the end, one vampire’s secret identity will be exposed in a revelation that shocks everyone.

I am a bit in shock still. If any of you suspected this, well you are smart. Because I was caught completely off guard. It was only like 3 pages that changed everything. She did a great job with the surprise factor. I did think something might be wrong in that first attack with Beauty, but that was long forgotten by now. Wow! I can't wait for what is next!

The writing was beautiful as she always delivers and the story was marvelous. There are so much things to be solved that I am wondering, how many books will there be? The only thing I would have wanted, since I am a romantic fool, is more description and expectation to the main relationship. And man, I feel bad for Dylan. I don't know how I feel about that. Nevertheless, the characters are amazing this time.

The cover is also my favorite of the four, since I already saw the next cover. I haven't been able to read the special Target chapter for this one, I can't access it, but I hear it is amazing. And the ending, well it blew me away. It is like, perfect naughty/romantic. Didn't expect that either. Loved it. Seriously, can't wait!
